This is an argument I heard made by antinatalist David Benatar basically condensed. There really is no pleasure in life as most of what we do is motivated to prevent future suffering or relieve ongoing suffering.
Think about it, food only tastes good to relieve the pain of hunger, a warm house relieves the pain of being homeless, sex/masturbation is only good to relieve the distress of horniness. And when we've met our basic needs, the constantly need to be met again. Until the day we die.
Also any pleasure that we derive from eating, having sex, sleeping is far less intense than pain. No one would trade 4 minutes of the best pleasure for 1 minute of the worst pain in the world.
Life really is fucked.
