I envy all those successful bloggers who made / make money right from their home... Now I just day dream about it.. I guess we can't make money by blogging at this point

Watch videos on making money from it - you need to pick a topic. I have looked into how much money people can make for example with YouTube videos. You do need to get a lot of hits, but it is possible. The videos will help you!
I would be doing it, but I'm not well enough at the moment to think straight...

i plan on doing crafts and what not then selling them as cute little things at a flea market or something. may i ask what you are dreaming about doing or is it just making money from home in general that you dream about?

Hey, I love that idea. Have you looked at the website called Etsy? You can sell them through there. For websites, I am learning Wordpress at the moment - it's lots of fun to do - when my brain works enough for me to learn it.

What crafts do you do? I would love to do more crochet - I have lost touch with so many of my hobbies with the depression, but I do love crafts. I have dreams of two big projects which are not for profits, then I am trained in massage therapy, but I haven't been well enough to set it all up. But if I recover (I am trying another megadose of LSD asap) then I will get them up and running.
Everything I trained in is all hippie stuff - Reiki, massage, chakras etc. There is a market for it - I just don't know what I believe in anymore because I've been so unwell for so long.

I can't even think about doing YouTube or any videos.. I am only confident on text blogging which is obsolete now. I dream about these only for making money . Right now all I dream is about making one million dollars.

It's not easy. I've had some success in the past, but the niches I were most successful with had time limits for how long they worked, and back then it was super easy to get your website to the top of Google ensuring traffic.

Now the options for making money are not as strong, and getting people to your blog is hard. For YT there are veritable armies of people with teams of people making and editing the videos to a very high standard, it isn't easy to make money from YT - I can't remember how many views you need before your vids are monetized, but it's a lot. EDIT - looked it up - minimum of 4000 hours of view time and 10,000 views to 1000 subscribers over last 12 months.

If you want some ideas go look at blackhatworld, but DONT buy any of the services there, some are rubbish, some are expensive, and if you don't have all your ducks in a row are a total waste of time. But you'll see what you're up against for YT, insta, twitter, Fb, and everything else.

I think there is stuff you can do with social media etc, but it is probably very tricky to get the numbers to make huge money. Unless you have a VERY popular topic and video or find a way to go[viral].
