• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does anyone have information or links to websites that discuss Starvation? I am on day four now. I want information about the process and impact on body as things progress.

My understanding is that the body can go a long time without food but cannot go more than a few days without water. The body can even produce it's own sugars (via liver and pancreas) to keep itself running for a little while.

Without food, the body will metabolize body fat, then muscle, then organs, which leads to organ failure and death (or a life with likely complications of damaged organs). It seems like a very difficult and uncertain way to ctb, as it would take a long time and force feeding could be imposed.

Your body can go for over 25 days without food, wouldn't recommend doing it.

https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...ake-to-die-via-starvation-dehydration.124416/ this seems like an informative thread. The best way to do it successfully is in a remote and very isolated place.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_McCandless This is a good read, although it was accidental and not intentional. I read a few other instances of people surviving in the Alaskan Bush and starving or almost starving to death because they couldn't make it back to civilization/didn't hunt or forage enough to not starve/not receiving supplies. I think placing oneself in similar inescapable circumstances would be the best bet

How much longer than 25 days until the organs fail?

Thank you for sharing the links that you did. I have already reviewed the thread of the first link but will review the second one.

I have already researched that. The info, from the sites I have been on, don't go into the information I want. VSED is for terminally ill patients with the understanding a medical doctor will be available to explain the type of information I need. I am not terminally ill so VSED doesn't help much. All it talks about is coordinating with a doctor, making final plans ect. I want medical information or anything related the actual process of starving not info about i.e. medical rights for the terminally ill. VSED is legal for terminally ill. To the point it talks about coordinating it with their doctor. That doesn't apply to my situation. If I follow VSED I would be involuntarily hospitalized.

I have been meaning to send you an email. Your post in my other thread was much appreciated.

I went over 4 weeks w/o eating anything, lost some weight. Bottle of water every day and that was it.

It is a long process, on year 3 now (of eating only every few days or so). But no one's ever said anything to me about it and I believe it won't be much longer. Patience is key.

You didn't eat a single thing within that 4 week period? Was it a painful experience at all?

Just hunger pains (pangs?) but you get used to it. Trick it with lots of water.

And no, not a single crumb. No cheat wafers, cracker, nada.

I have to say I was massively disappointed with the results.

In hot places, dehydration will work, but in your home you will wait more than 11 days There is a man who went to an island every two hours and drank a liter of coconut water from the heat
