Started my fast

I've started my fast I'll finish a few things before I head home. Getting some timed emails ready and then I'll be heading home and hopefully in a few hours I'll be taking the SN. I'm prepared for nausea and throwing up, if it does happen.

Hoping SI won't kick in before I take the SN but I am ready to go.

It won't be until about 8-9 my time I take it, and I started the fast about noon and I've been chewing on ice chips at work. It's weird cause I'm talking to people in horrible positions, but I have to pretend to be happy myself knowing I'm gonna go home and end it tonight.

Are you going to take antiemetics to reduce the risk of vomitting?

I wasn't able to get the recommended anti emetic I have the generic for Zolfran and the anti acid. I have a scale to measure the amount by the gram, so I'm setting up my messages to be sent. Quickly rewriting and writing some letters and then it's bottoms up. I figure I'll chug it and hold my nose. Plus I'm gonna make sure when I mix it there's nothing left and it completely absorbs it. And I have had the sn since last two weeks of last month.

Make a couple of glasses just in case if you can. Also handy to have an emergency standby if needed.

Also I gotta say I definitely recommend having a scale, 25 grams is a lot. I wouldn't trust just using a spoon and guessing. But at my old job I would measure stuff and we had to be precise so part of me investing in one for this is that reason.

I can only imagine what you are feeling and the sorts of thoughts that must being going through your head right now. I am sorry if you are in a lot of pain - be it physical or emotional - at the moment. I can only really speak for myself, but I hope that you know that there is no judgement coming from me. I am sure that others here too, who are willing to accommodate you with open arms if you feel up to talking and need someone to listen. Please be compassionate with of yourself in the meantime and maybe try to rest if you can.
