I had originally just came outside to take out some trash but was taken aback by scenery. It's a cold night, no snow where I live, just looks like a more dead version of fall with some light fog, even though there is winter air. We've been robbed of things like a white Christmas where I live thanks to climate change. But I just caught myself just staring into the sky, looking at all the clouds, seeing the (little amount of visible) stars flicker in and out throughout the clouds. I've always loved the night sky, I even got a telescope once, though it was a cheap one off amazon and didn't work too well, it was still nice. I hate the fact that I can't at least just see more than a few dozen stars. I still remember reading about one time in L.A there was a massive blackout and people literally called 911 over seeing the milky way. Light pollution took all this away from us. I am resonated with feelings I can't describe looking into the sky. I wish I could just keep looking forever.
