SS Shut Down?!

I've seen a few people worrying that SS might get shut down but all of this really has a simple solution. Websites like BestGore, Kaotic or theYNC have existed throughout the years and as you all know, they've displayed "controversial" material like mass killings, executions, butchery, and some parents have tried taking said sites down maybe because they wanted their kid's live ctb removed or like pushed for a "safer internet".

And how many succeeded so far? Zero.

And to any parent reading this, don't try to shield your kids from reality. It will get them nowhere. Instead, make them stronger or tougher or wiser.

Let's get onto the solution:

SS programmers should easily be able to migrate the whole site and suicide wiki onto an offshore server away from US jurisdiction or away from wherever that Fixthe26 guy is holed up. There are plenty of excellent services on the net lol. These are called VPS or Virtual Private Servers and they are the primary reason why a site like let's say Pirate Bay or 2 guys 1 hammer are still operating. Sure, Pirate Bay was seized but there are 200 more backups online and piracy is a criminal offense. I would recommend the SS programmers to rent a vps in somewhere like Ukraine, China, Somalia, Switzerland or some country that doesn't give a shit. VPS are hella cheap too lmao and I mean 30 euros a month cheap. This alone can stop our pursuers and do you think FBI's cyber division would go as far as raiding some data center in Switzerland or whatever country SS' servers are in? That would require a presidential order and would mean an act of war. Also, these said countries don't bend to Washington.

So please guys, stop worrying. The worst they could do is get Google to unindex us but can't you just use DuckDuck or Bing or Yandex instead?

Or maybe let's say your ISP restricts access to SS, you can just download a free VPN no big deal.

With that being said, long live SS. We aren't breaking any laws. This is the beauty of freedom of speech.

I was never afraid, myself. Hypothetically if it did get shut down, and there was no where else to go for info (there is) that'll never stop people from CTB. Suicide existed before the internet, and suicide will still exist long after all those people on twitter are gone.

And it will only get worse as long as the main problems aren't being fixed, the longer parents censor things instead of teaching their children how to live properly. Even then it'll never be 100% stopped.

I really don't know why they think taking down one little site is going to do anything in the long run...
maybe make them able to pat themselves on the back and think they won a 'war' or some sh*t.

Imagine feebly trying to wage a war against sad people who just want the right to choose what they want to do with their lives,
and feel comfort among people who REALLY understands them whether they do or don't CTB.

My advice; don't post stuff that may compromise or open yourself to being a victim of Fuckthe26; they're nasty people. They'll abuse and intimidate you once they got it usually via PM, I guess.

To the mods please increase the requirements of granting privilege to PM. Because we don't wanna Fuckthe26 or predators going for an easy picking.

By allowing them to post publicly for a certain amount of time, it's easier to weed them out.

It creeps me out the amount of guest proportion to members.

And our poker game was ruined by these guest and fraud members, but we learned from our mistakes, not allowing parasites hijacking our game.

I almost impulsively CTB'd tonight because of a lot of their groupies on twitter feeling like it's ok to harass, belittle, and insult suicidal people.
Would've been my choice, but I have never seriously contemplated suicide without a proper plan for a long long time.

Their BS combined with my IRL issues right now would've driven me to getting myself put into a ward or maybe even gone when I'm not even fully ready just yet.

Very good post my friend. I hope this is the situation but I don't want to re ignite peoples worry but our owners destroy anything that's compassionate and protect abuse sites.
So we always need to be prepared I would suggest always note anything valuable to you here or contact people you'll wish you had in case it does. But I think I mentioned the other day not arse kissing but those keeping this place up are brilliant I don't think they'll make it easy for the elite. Takes guts to run this site, takes guts to be involved in anything that's good to people not torture their souls.

I am aware that these phone and PC companies have been spying on us, they always have. But I also believe that VPNs will never disappear. These companies make new hardware but others will always find a way to modify it.

Really hope it doesn't get shut down, I believe that if it ever does get shut down the mods will have some other solution on how to bring us together lol, they always improve the website and do some new stuff-after the discord got shut down many times, the telegram group popped up, and apparently they are working on another platform too.
