I got a message at the bottom of the screen saying the site is being upgraded. It went down around 3 hours ago.

i believe the old themes are no longer compatible with the new upgrade, Just choose "UI.X" theme, seems to fix the issues for me.

Nah I always use Tor to browse this site. Better safe than sorry.

EDIT: What's especially weird is that it displays initially for a second, and then vanishes.
Perhaps this suicide forum tried to commit suicide and survived, but has been left in really bad state?

P.S. Also just realised the text in my signature is no longer displaying (image is still fine). It's still definitely set to be there in options, just isn't showing up when it should on posts.

Lol, yes I bet the scammers were on a high when my signature disappeared saying that when I was new I got a message of someone saying they have a bottle but changed there mind I just said no didn't even ask a price.
I am using TOR and I nearly never logged in as the writing was so small and the avatars were huge, SS should have sent all it's members an e-mail saying about the upgrade and how to fix the problem.
