What are yours? Do they help you?

I just started to do long meditation sessions and It helped greatly with pain/suffering. I meditate hour at a time and I want to do more in future. I want to share that in case i could help people with pain but this is something I am not sure it will work, even though sitting in one position for hour or more is painful. It also shifts your identity a bit.
I am not Buddhist but I agree with basic statements of Buddhism. I am also Gnostic. If some of you want help with meditation or mindfulness practices you can dm me.

You're doing extremely well if you can meditate for an hour. I have been researching spirituality for 20 years and my mind won't even still for 10 seconds.

If you are so inclined, self-inquiry is a technique that aims to permanently destroy the false sense of self. It is the most direct path to enlightenment, though most people find it challenging in practice.

Oh I used to do self inquiry and listened to Ramana Maharshi teachings and I should go back to It. Today I did one and half hours and apart from feeling not that suicidal afterwards I do not feel any difference. I never actually have my mind still. I let it do what it wants. It was active for whole time. I do not get anything from that long meditations. I am still very angry individual and I do still suffer. I would surely love to not have sense of self or false ego. I am a bit more dissociated from emotional pain but things like not getting enough sleep and ringing in ears still get me.

Tantric sex
Best I can do is tantric masurbation.

I tried meditation but it wasn't effective for me. I am Christian though, I'm sort of a "born-again Christian" since I did not grow up religious. I got into religion when I first became very suicidal, I was so depressed I got on my knees and prayed. After that day a lot of good things happened. That school year ended up being pretty good, I had friends, exercised daily, and made lots of good memories.

Religion is the only thing that helps me feel like I'm not alone. I don't have anyone to talk to about my feelings besides my psychiatrists and SS, but ofc you can't tell doctors about suicide, and on SS i feel like it's talking into the void at times. It helps but it also doesn't. When I pray, God listens to me and understands me. He doesn't judge me for my mistakes or my decisions, and if I do something bad He understands why and forgives me when I repent. It's very comforting.

Have to keep doing whatever works!

I would surely love to not have sense of self or false ego.
Just want to add that if you are serious about this path, it's important to immerse yourself and associate with like-minded others. There's a forum that I used to be a part of which I think would help. https://www.actualized.org/forum/forum/4-meditation-consciousness-enlightenment-spirituality/

Having a what people like to call a spiritual routine is basically what had helped get out of my depressive hikikomori period, heal most of my past trauma, gain back my confidence and just feels so damn good about myself and life, like nowadays I truly miss that !

My routine was :

• Drinking water right after I wake up
• Stretching
• Meditating for minimum 15 mins
• Praying
• Working out or yoga
• Hygiene routine (which eh when you're depressed you can tend to forget about this shit)
• Morning pooja and cleansing my space
• Working for a few hours (self employed tarot reader/spell caster)
• Then I would just take the afternoon to do whatever I want while still being productive, I tried to finish a book or learn something new
• At night I would cleanse my place, night pooja, praying, hygiene routine, self care moment

And depending on my mood I would either do some spells, tantric meditations, downloading or astral projecting.
