Spend last money on rent or on lottery tickets, before ctbing?

So this is the deal.
I am planning on ctb in the beginning of this coming February.
Now , my father sends me a monthly allowance on the 1st of each month for food and rent.
I initially thought of just paying the rent and that's it.
But now I am thinking of buying lottery tickets instead with that money.
I feel spending it on rent will be kind of a waste because I am going to ctb in the beginning of the month so the owner will get money for nothing ultimately (I always pay the month in advance) because for the rest of February I would obviously not use the apartmeny.
What do you guys think?.

I might as well give it a last try and try to win something.
Even if the chances are really low, better than spending it on rent when I will not even be using the apartment.

I'd pay the rent just in case things don't work out as planned , the odds of winning on a lottery ticket are slim to none so pls look after your needs firsf

Pay the rent just incase you cant complete CTB, there are so many reasons people arnt successful and if youve spent the money youlk have the added pressure of being behind on the rent. Trust me it just pushes you deeper till the point you literally have to CTB or face eviction

you win the lottery and you spend the rest of your days on a tropical island with russian hookers and cocaine

what will really happen:

ctb try will fail, you wont win the lottery and you are now homeless bc you cant afford the rent

Speaking as somebody who has failed to CTB numerous times, I'd pay rent. If you back out or fail, you have a place to stay at least. Winning enough cash through the lottery is so slim. You'd be better off investing that money into a cryptocurrency (when the market is low).

Winning the lottery would just make it worse. Only a matter of time you'd figure out that even that doesn't solve the real problems.

It would be proof, I guess. Proof is nice. To be able to say you did everything you could to try to make this shit show worth it, and proved that it wasn't.

I would invest it in multiple things. Like split the money and invest some in the lottery and some in the stocks. (Stocks may take longer tho) But if I spend the money for different things, then I have a higher chance of getting something. I could also just spend all my money on one night to make it the night of my life and then die somewhat happy.
