An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
I allow myself to ask this question about sn just because I don't find a thread where it has already been done. Does the daily intake of birth control pills interfere with the success of the sn regimen?
please
@_Minsk is a pretty active member. Not trying to speak for him, I just personally wouldn't refrain from tagging him regarding a subject he may be knowledgeable about because he's a mod. That's just my perspective, he can of course correct me if I'm off, and also of course no offense intended toward you, @Sherri.
Agreed that birth control pills shouldn't have an impact, but @mimiopo22, if you go to the bottom of the Suicide Resource Compilation, there's a link to a drug interaction checker.

I think one day in front of my coffin you will say "it's troll" "it's shitposting" now let's stop for a moment to think why such a question should be shitposting. shitposting is fun stuff, you know that right? if i was a troll i'd put on something fun

I was almost sure you were a she but didnt wanna write she/he so I beg your pardon. You have a dry sarcastic sense of humour and I love that in a person. My favourite type of comedies that I love the most are with that sense of humour.

Birth control pills are just hormone. For that to be relevant women would not be able to use the regimen during specific times in their cycle. I can assure you that poison will still poison you regardless of your hormones.
i didnt know bullying was just being "silly". you should really watch what you say, words can really hurt people and im sure a lot of us here know about that

I honestly feel if people don't like what OP says or posts they should just ignore the posts. I don't think it is appropriate to post in everyone of the posts being critical or judgemental. If the mods have a problem with it they will take care of it, and if you considered inappropriate or spam report it. I understand people's concerns and issues with op, but this is not a kind or proper way of dealing with it
@RainAndSadness@_Minsk do you guys have any thoughts on this? This is honestly becoming a frequent thing.

You are not like the OP. And rosey as someone who has been bullying and hateful to me I consider anything you directly post about me as more of the same.

Yes where @Meditation guide has called me out she has already deleted the posts, but good thing she can't delete quotes so the things she is saying are still very clearly visible. I would like evidence to the accusations that have been put on the table.

the weird part is if i remember correctly they werent always like this. when i first joined i thought they were nice then it was almost like something happened and then have been this way since. i wanted to talk to her about it to see if she was ok but she had everything blocked so i couldnt and then she turned hateful towards me so i just put her on ignore.
I agree with @RoseyBird. I think asking this question is valid and people should indeed stop fueling oil into the fire. If you see content that goes against the rules, report them. Instead, you all are derailing the thread again and I really don't appreciate that. It makes our work harder and it seems like you're antagonizing one specific member repeatedly. There is an ignore-button for a reason.
We had many discussions regarding spoon-feeding information about methods in the past, mostly in 2019. It's a tricky issue and I understand if some people have difficulties with specific details of their methods, especially if a language barrier is present. I recommend @mimiopo22 uses the SN megathread in the future instead of creating new threads for very simple questions, just to avoid spam. She can put all of her questions into one post and hopefully that will motivate members to address them in a constructive way. It's the best solution for this ongoing dilemma. Thanks everyone.
