Ah in this case yes every day I'm closer to leaving this futile existence. My original date will no longer work sadly as I expect to be on vacation with a friend I enjoy a lot. Maybe I'll find purpose but it's doubtful.

Do you set dates to CTB? I approach it by when is the next opportunity. Like when the next business trip is coming and I am alone in a hotel with my hanging kit with me.

I've set dates. I can CTB any time truly, I just would like to mitigate damage to my peers. I want to avoid birthdays and holidays. Sure it may not matter as much as I think it does but my goal isn't to hurt people. I just want to leave behind this meaningless world.

I can relate. I choose to hang myself on a business trip in a hotel. I don't want to burden my family with finding me. I d have a delayed email to the police to find me who are better trained with dead bodies than hotel cleaning staff.

Permanent relief and freedom from the terrible burden that is existence doesn't seem like it's coming soon for me unfortunately as it isn't like freeing ourselves from all the suffering is straightforward. At least no matter what each second is one second closer to death but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's so dreadful feeling trapped here for now.
