@Esc9434 I recognized your name when I saw the notification. I hope that you are doing alright, or at least as well as one frequenting a place like this can be. It is a rather long story, but a part of it is that I decided to take a risk and tried to recover. Recent developments in my life have brought me back sadly. Thank you for the well wishes though. I really appreciate them.
@Oozzy I don't mean to be ungrateful because I do acknowledge that I am very lucky to live where I do. I'm just frustrated because I am feeling trapped ha ha. I hope that I don't sound insensitive due to my privilege, but I had always wanted to visit that Tombili statue in Istanbul. I'm sorry that you have been suffering. Please be gentle with yourself.
@Loser47 The funny thing is that I do live in one of those countries where euthanasia is legal. I think that a common misconception is that accessing these services is a smooth and clear cut process, but in many cases it is not. More often than not, being granted assistance in dying is a painfully drawn out process that is riddled with red tape. With the pandemic, it has become even more complicated.
@NeverGoodEnuff Ha ha, yes, I don't think that voting in previous election was all that enviable. I guess that if I had to choose, I would go with cyanide - full Alan Turing style, apple and all.
@CivilizationV I'm sorry that you can relate. I really am. Hopefully you won't have to resort to such a violent death. Please take good care okay?
@ashedout To be so desperate means that you are in a lot of pain and I'm sorry. I resonate with your frustrations though. I cannot even be sure how mobility between countries will work out in the year of "2020 New Game +".
