Discussion someone somewhere

I'm back to tell about my life and my problems again... sorry in advance

Last night i was looking out the window, ruminating on my loneliness and i said to myself looking at the stars, "in the world, somewhere, there is someone like me. we are looking for each other without knowing it and without ever finding each other. I don't know their name, or their sex, or their face, or where this person lives, but I know that we are thinking of each other at the moment". thinking about it did me a lot of good and I'm pretty sure that at least one person must have been thinking the same thing at the same time in the world.
What do you think ?

I wish I could meet just one person that understands me. All I want is someone who sticks by my side and makes me feel less alone in this world. I am very loyal. I think of my old friends constantly but they've left me

Loneliness certainly can cause so much pain and sufferings. Humans were not created to live their lives alone, we used to live in "clans" wandering through nature for millions of years. But nowadays most people are self-centered, are under stress all the time.

Looking into the sky, watching the stars and therefore looking into the infinity of the universe makes us dreaming of a better world out there.

That's a lovely thought. I think about it too when i look at the moon. I have felt lonely almost all my life. I have always tried to make friends through internet and couldn't even tell anyone irl about it when i was 13/14. Now things are different my parents won't care if i have internet friends lol. But still that doesn't take away the feeling of not having anyone who understands you. The warmth of a real person is obviously different. The only thing good happened so far is this forum which makes me feel understood so that's good.

Same here... the hard part is finding a safe place to share our feelings on the internet. I'm glad I found this forum
