So through my research i found that the best way to lose consciousness was if you lean at an angle from the suspension point and make an angle with your body and the ground like the image on the left .
my question is:
Will we lose the tension on our carotids once we lose muscle tone after losing consciousness like the image on the right?

Basically i dont wanna wake up screaming and out of my mind just because i lost muscle tone while fiddling about and convulsing

I don't really understand..
What i wanna know is if the change is position while dropping down would change the location of the knot and thus lose the pressure on the carotids

I have similar worries. I might try to hang while sitting or near sitting, with hands and legs tied, to get around such shifts after unconsciousness.
