Only if you look directly at the sun! You can get special glasses that make it safe to watch.Does that make you blind? If yes, then hell no
If blind, could I get disability and play my guitar all day? JK but I can't help myself.Does that make you blind? If yes, then hell no
No. It's only visible as total eclipse when you are at a place inside the shadow path. That's a "line" of about 150-200km width. Away from that center line you see it as partial solar eclipse. It's a fairly long one with a duration of 4m28s.Thank you for sharing this. I didn t know it will happen. Might watch it. Is it visible from every country/place on earth?
Ah... so not visible for us Europeans.No. It's only visible as total eclipse when you are at a place inside the shadow path. That's a "line" of about 150-200km width. Away from that center line you see it as partial solar eclipse. It's a fairly long one with a duration of 4m28s.
Solar eclipse of April 8, 2024 - Wikipedia

The solar eclipse is the major event but there's also a bright comet this time. The periodic comet 12P/Pons-Brooks will be near Jupiter and can probably be seen without optical aids during the eclipse. The following planets are visible during the eclipse: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. It should be an amazing sight to witness.
