Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm not qualified to answer this with any professional knowledge, but to my understanding food grade would just mean they've added some kind of an additive or done something to make it function for a specific type of purpose. Let's say, keep a certain form for example. But it's still sodium nitrite, 99%. It's still going to dissolve into water, and it's still going to damage you and kill you eventually. This would be my understanding, but I'm not an expert by any means.

So, I imagine it does not matter. You're just looking for +95% sodium nitrite, dissolved into water or something.

Yeah i bought SN (at 98%). I couldn't find SN at >98% purity. I suppose it will be sufficient for my cause.

You can it. Search aquarium test, and it will show you how to test to see if it's legit.

It makes no difference what "type" of SN it is as long as the assay is >95%. ( I think it's higher than 95%; might want to double check that number; might be higher than 96%, not sure). Regardless, food grade, reagent grade, military grade, technical grade, whatever, as long as it is the right percentage is all that matters.
