think it would just taint the taste of the drink no? Like say you hate to tequilla- a shot would be horrible but having a longer drink of tequilla and orange would be worst, pretty sure I read that it would make any drink taste horrible-better to neck it-then have something straight after to get rid of the after taste

I've always been curious........ why don't people just put the SN powder inside capsules?? Instead of mixing it with water to drink it and experience the bad taste

It can't be mixed with anything like soda. Your body will produce too much stomach acid if you drink that. Then the SN will be less effective.

Adding anything to SN risks a chemical reaction that turns the Nitrite into a Nitrate. I am not a chemist so don't know what would or wouldn't

Soda isn't good because it raises stomach acidity. You want to avoid that with SN. Probably most juice would do the same.

There's proof in the SN megathread. It's the whole reason acid reducers are recommended.

Oxygen does change it. That's all I know.
