Yeah, a day before Easter Sunday and five days before the anniversary of my dearest mother's death, I am getting put out on the street. Sad thing is is I start a job tomorrow. Managed to snag one because I am on furlough from my regular job until around Memorial Day weekend. Funny thing is, I was, for once in my life actually getting my shit together. Then shit hit the fan and suddenly, things went from horrible to outright hellish. Life has a funny way of bringing you down right when it gives you hope. Fuck the world and fuck everyone in it.

The U.S. and my living arrangement is such that I am merely a guest and not a tenant. Sad thing is is I am so jaded from just a rough past that I am almost indifferent about the entire situation. I expect no less from my life.

I need to stop posting when I'm tired. Reading that I ignored that part. You wouldn't think they would do that here, but they would.

Can you get some temporary accomodation of some description, so you can start the new job ?
Or very (very) worst case, could you sleep in the car for a couple of weeks until your first paycheck, etc ?

Should be survivable, though I don't know all your specifics of course.....

Unfortunately, do not have a car. Upside is is this will likely only be for a month or two and will give me enough time to save a good chunk of money.

Thanks. You are a very kind soul yourself. As far a being deserving of so much more, eh, I want to believe that, but life so far has proven otherwise. Maybe things will get better and maybe they won't. If they don't, there are plenty of options out there to just leave the pain and all the garbage behind. I see it as putting myself where I have belonged since birth. The trash with the rest of the useless waste.

Perhaps some type of hostel, or something along those lines ?
Probably not much fun, but survivable, although obviously need to find out what's open with current events...
Or can you try craigslist or gumtree, etc ?
There must be some people around in need of some cash, who can offer a place to sleep for a month or two....
