Venting So this might be it

I have been sat in the hospital A&E for a while with what my GP thought was a minor abscess infection. Now it seems that I'm booked in for emergency surgery first thing in the morning and I am sitting in a hospital bed being prepared. This is a risky procedure under GA and potential life ending. It's bloody ironic that I had abandoned CTB plans for recovery life but my God throws this at me . Well I'm prepared to meet it head on, scared definitely but I will be out with an 80/20 chance of oblivion. I've been in pain so long now can't remember what it's like without it. I wish you all peace in whatever form that takes. If I don't return by Friday 7th I'm ended please delete. Thank you everyone such wonderful people

So I must have something left to do in this life, I'm still here though with a couple of areas significantly reduced. Things apparently went well and for the first time I don't have some of the general pain I have lived with for many years, barring the healing where significant areas were removed during my the operation.

Thank you to the community members for your support, I had real fear going in and your comments helped.

Glad surgery went well and didn't develop further, I've had sepsis and its nasty.

Hi, progress is good but slow. The pain has subsided to a point where I can walk about and I had a good night's sleep which is something special in itself.

The clinical and nursing staff are great and I am hoping for an assessment today.

Thanks again for you support, the internet is a bit sketchy here, I'm in a new room today so I hope this will upload.

I'm definitely wanting more recovery the pains I've had for ages seem to be easing, it's not pain free but it's a much better.
