Some say it does, some say after two years it may not be as strong, so there is some doubt about it.

Yes, we can't share sources on the public forum. That one states for professional use only and you have to be approved so it's a nope…seems like most UK sources are like this.

I think my sn is probably still good to go, it's clumpy but still in its airtight bottle. It's from Poland. I was mainly curious about the IC source if I'm honest. Since everyone seemed to be talking about it.

SN should last for years past it's expiration date. I've read on multiple meat curing forums where some people said they've used the same SN for over 10 years and that's them using it and opening it occasionally for meat curing. So an unopened SN bottle/package should be good.

PPH says SN shelf life is infinite if left unopened. The expiry day is meant for people really opened and using it for meat curing process.
