• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Everyone has their own reasons for being here. I respect that. Bottom line is, most of us are here because we've been through some form of immense pain in life...wether it's physical or emotional. The last 2.5 years I've been through a ton of medical problems and multiple brain surgeries. The doctors are now saying there's nothing more they can do. My medical conditions have left me with an immense amount of physical pain and limited mobility, and no medication helps to relieve the pain. I'm just left to suffer, day in and day out. I see what this is doing to my spouse and my kids. Their lives are having to stop so they can care for me. It's not fair to any of us. I don't want to die. But I don't want this endless suffering, either. Not if there are no quality days left. No one should have to live in this much pain. t's a cruel existence. I'm a believer in faith in God, but that has truly been tested the past few years. So, here I am, just looking for some form of peace...which I don't seem to be finding in this world. I hope you all find peace on your journeys, wherever that may lead.

Physical and emotional pain are devastating...especially when it's been the reality for a long time. I hope you find the peace that you seek and relief from suffering.

That really sounds so horrible what you've been through, I really don't think there could ever be any peace to be found in this harmful world filled with endless suffering, existence truly is a nightmare. I hope that you eventually find freedom from the torture, to me true peace could only ever exist in the absence of everything where this existence is finally forgotten about.

My friend, have you made some progress towards CTB since then? It is important that you find a worldview in your mind that allows you to work things through and get closer to CTB.

Have you tried looking into hard determinism? It is a scientifically-based belief that things could not have happened otherwise. There is no free will and everything is based on deterministic laws of nature. I think your religious background could make a great entry point. Many important religious people, such as John Calvin, St. Augustine or Thomas Aquinas were determinists. Try looking into Sam Harris, Derk Pereboom, Gregg Caruso, Jerry Coyne.
