A pointless life had in a pointless world

And I have to have 2 molars pulled, one on each side.
Went to go see a private dentist as most places are refusing to see NHS patients.
She spoke about implants very matter-of-factly as if it was a given I'd shell out for them.
I went along with the idea at first, I knew it was going to be expensive but I have ways of working around that but thinking about it all is just overwhelming.
I'm actually completely turned off about having implants and would rather do bridges.
Titatinum implants carry a lot of risks, even though dentists try to make out like they don't for the sake of money. (Not sure why I should trust someone telling me to do something that they'd never have to do anyway.)
I've been reading up on titanium implants and they can cause negative side effects on the lungs and I have asthma as it is.
(No serious long term affects however elevated titanium levels were found in the lungs and lymph nodes)
(can cause various physiological issues in the body)
There was also another article I read that said that titanium has been shown to suppress the immune system or cause an elevated white blood cell count.
I know I don't want to do it and it's very unlikely that I will. Bridges can cause damage but I'd prefer to go for the least invasive method.
I mean I've already come to terms with the fact that I'm going to end up with a full set of dentures at some point in my life a long time ago.
JJust wish I had a decent set of teeth. Just another thing for me to feel like shit about.

A study of titanium release into body organs following the insertion of single threaded screw implants into the mandibles of sheep - PubMed
Debris from a single implant insertion is at such a low level that it is unlikely to pose a health problem. Even though the number of failed implants was low, multiple failed implants may result in considerably more titanium release which can track through the regional lymph nodes. Results...

Side Effects of Dental Metal Implants: Impact on Human Health (Metal as a Risk Factor of Implantologic Treatment)
Dental implants are often made of titanium alloys. Implant therapy currently promises a good long-term result without impacting health; however, its success depends on many factors. In this article, the authors focus on the most common risk factors associated with metallic surgical implants...

Can Titanium Plates Be Left in the Body Safely? - eOrthopod.com
Patients who have metal plates, pins, and screws in the body are rightfully concerned about the safety and long-term effects of these devices left inside. Surgeons share those concerns but do not want to perform an additional surgery to remove them if unnecessary. And sometimes when plates are...
