So if you're drinking in your tub and you mix bleach and nail polish remover which makes chloroform.... provided your tub is big enough could you go under water and stay down there?

If I passed out, I suppose. Trouble is, the only alcohol I drink is the Precious Blood in Holy Communion (which is made from a rosé wine) -- a sip perhaps two or three times a week. People would think it very strange and even suspicious if I drank enough alcohol to pass out. And would there be water in the tub in addition to the bleach/nail polish remover that makes chloroform? How much chloroform would be needed for someone to die?

It doesnt need to be in the tub with you. I was thinking of putting it a bucket and make it seem like I was cleaning and it was an accident
I'm not sure how much is needed this is simply hypothetical

Wouldn't work for me. I'd want to keep living to huff the nail polish remover.
