SN without benzos

How essential are benzos for SN? I can handle the nerves and SI (at least I think so), but does it affect the pain felt in any way?

Not for pain. I know they're highly recommended to help with SI when you start feeling symptoms from the SN but they're just a comfort measure.

Yeah, I don't even have benzos to help with calming or anything. I have the AE (Olanzapine) and some Ibuprofen, but other than that, I don't have any of the other medications.

I may have got this wrong, but I though Benzo's are also to help knock you out quicker as well?

Isn't that why the PPH recommends taking a load of Benzo's as you take the SN drink?

Take it. Benzos are supposed to calm you down. Taking too few of them is not a problem

From what I have read, you consume the benzodiazepine or similar to knock you out so the effects of the SN happen whilst you're knocked out and asleep

Benzos are not essential for SN and you can even do the SN method without benzos, but benzos can help greatly in both overcoming your SI and possibly tolerate (but not negate) the uncomfortable effects of SN better. If you time a benzo overdose right, you can knock yourself out before even feeling any of the uncomfortable effects of SN.
