Hey all, im curious to what you think of my regime drugs of choice and if any of you have any suggestions or changes you would recommend. I haven't decided how many MG of what Im going to take yet as I haven't got that far but if you have recommendations on that as well feel free to chime in. Okay so this is what I got so far.

1. Domperidone (choosing because meto seems to have some wild side effects) and Zofran for antiemetics

2. propranolol for beta blocker

3. Benzo - still need to find but will probably go with whatever one I can get my hands on for this (if anyone has a source in Canada DM me!)

4. Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for pain killers

5. I was curious as to what were thinking for antacid, if I should or shouldn't go with that with everything else on my list. if so what kind is best?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The last I heard (spoken about in these forums), is that an antacid is no longer recommended. You'll need to probe others, more knowledgeable than I, about the SN protocol, if you want to know the why for that change.

Will do! Everything else seems okay though for my protocol?

It would also be useful to read comments about the use of antacids.

Sodium Nitrite Protocol (2023 PPH)

Fast (clear fluids only) for several hours

Take 30mg (3x10 mg) tablets of metoclopramide

Wait 40 minutes

•During the wait time, dissolve 25gm of sodium nitrite in 50 - 100 ml of plain water (35gm if body weight over 100Kg)

  • Crush 20 x 30mg tablets (a full card of oxazepam) with mortar & pestle
  • Mix crushed tablets with enough water until a drinkable solution is created
  • Drink sodium nitrite in water
  • Drink oxazepam in water
  • Lay back.

  • If you don't have oxazepam, you can substitute Valium (diazepam, 50x10mg) or the off-licence, research chemical bromazolam (10mg). (Note that in the PPH chapter on supplementary drugs, Bromazolam 50 mg is suggested. Th 50 mg dose is probably more accurate because Bromazolam is similar to Alprazolam/Xanax, and Alprazolam 50 mg is roughly equivalent to Diazepam 500 mg.)

What about lorazepam for the benzo? I think I saw this somewhere so I apologize if it's been asked and answered already.

I didn't see a specific reference to lorazepam. In the SN chapter they refer to the specific ones listed above. In the Supplementary Drugs chapter they say that sedating, anxiety relieving benzodiazepines can speed loss of consciousness. Then they give specific examples: diazepam 1gm, oxazepam 600mg, midazolam 600mg. clonazepam 100mg, or off-licence bromazolam 50mg.

Also, there are benzo equivalency calculators that you can check out

I looked at this equivalency table and thought it would take 25mg (50 x 0.5mg) of both Alprazolam and Bronazolam to make up for 500mg (50x10mg) of Diazepam? What am I missing?
