SN + antiemetic (I know, eyeroll)
So, after reading and trying my best using the comprehensive SN thread (thanks, @Stan), I have some ideas/questions regarding my plan.
My psychiatrist recently had me try Quetiapine (Seroquel)- and I still have several left- but then I switched to a different med and have since just went off all meds because I want to CTB and don't want interactions. (I only recently went off of them and wasn't on them long at all so I'm not really worried about that). My question is, can I restart the Quetiapine like the week before (in place of the meto) and still have it built up in my system enough to work as an antiemetic? Is it likely to work as strongly as other antiemetics? My plan as of now looks like this:
*take Quetiapine at least a few days before as antiemetic.
*fast from food and water 20-24hrs before and do not drink anything 2hrs before.
* (1 hr before SN)- 600mg ibuprofen as painkiller.
*(45mins before SN)- Quetiapine (again?) as antiemetic?? Possibly add some Xanax as a sedative?- both will make me sleepy though and I don't want to fall asleep before taking SN. Not sure if I should leave Xanax out but I know I'll be very anxious. (Psychiatrist only recently gave me Xanax and instead of taking it I'm saving it so I still need to test that part out- I've never tried Xanax before.)
*(30 mins before SN)- take a double dose of Tagamet or just use Milk of Magnesia (how much if using ?)
*Take SN- 20g in 50ml water (make 2 extra doses in case of vomiting)- I've been practicing with salt water to get used to salty taste.
I truly appreciate any help or advice.
