Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Hi everyone just wanted to ask before I make a mistake for SN is 99% food grade good for CTB or no? thank you for your time just confirming before I waste my money to buy it and end up not getting the right one to ctb
Sodium Nitrite (SN) Method Introduction This document has been designed to give a full understanding of SN, what it is, how it works and how to use it. It will use the most simplest way of delivering this information as many members do not have English as their first language. Therefore using...
Also, should it basically three glasses of SN, one to drink and two backups? I known people having 4 backup, I will say 2 backup and 1 to drink but it’s your call

Ok I'm being stupid, sorry, I don't get what the difference is as long as the purity of the chemical part is 99%.
It could be food grade or shoe grade couldn't it as long as 99% of the compounds are pure SN ?
I'm struggling to understand the difference if they both contain 99% SN.

I think Lab grade has less impurities since the SN I'm going to get has about 0.8% of Nitrates and it's purity is 99% AR which means it is as pure as it gets I suppose but I think Food grade could still work as look as the purity is high enough. This is why Lab grade is recommended over Food grade however even in the comprehensive guide by Stan, food grade is still fine.

Fair enough but it's still pretty damn pure enough to CTB at the moment of choosing, that's what matters although how is it the lowest when this grade of chemicals are used for high precision work. In this, trace impurities are restricted to the lowest possible limits for high precision and its not the lowest considering Techinal grade, Lab grade and Synthesis grade are all lower than AR with ACS right above it as well as other classifications that follow.
In either case, it's SN that's good enough to get it done.

Though, from the supplier I'm looking at, there's also CP which is Chemical pure SN but they said AR is more pure than that. However yes, AR grade is enough though i do wish I knew how many people used it to be CTB compared to food grade.
