Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I've been interested in SN for a while due to it's accessibility and the fact that the symptoms that appear before loss of consciousness / death aren't very scary to me (I deal with nausea / dizziness / fainting regularly so feel confident in my ability to handle death by SN in that aspect). My main concern has been the taste. I've always had huge taste aversions, I can basically drink water and apple juice and that's it, even drinking cow's milk makes me nauseous and gag, same with alcohol. So for a while I had written off the idea, since I knew there would be no way I could successfully drink a glass of SN, much less a second if I threw up the first.

I had to have a NG tube last fall for reasons related to my sensitive gag reflex, and realized how easy it was to administer meds through the tube. I believe using an NG tube could be a way for people with extreme taste aversions and sensitivities to administer a lethal dose of SN with as minimal discomfort as possible.

No doctor is going to place a tube for this reason, but if you do some research, it's not super difficult to place an NG tube on your own. I think anywhere from a 8-12 french would work fine for this, I'd avoid going larger because the larger the tube, the sorer your nasal cavity and throat will be after placing it. You'll also want to do testing after the tube is placed to make sure it is actually in your stomach and not in your lungs or somewhere else. Any medical site selling NG tubes will also sell PH strips you can use to test and confirm you've placed the tube correctly.

The only risk I can think of with this method, is that it's not a guarantee to stop vomiting. I believe there is a good chance you will still vomit after administering the SN. It will be very important to make sure while throwing up, you do NOT throw up the tube if you can help it, as you will need it still in to administer a second dose of SN if needed.

Those are my current thoughts on this method. I just ordered my SN from overseas today, so it will be a few weeks before I can test this out. But hopefully all goes well. I do have prescription benzos I will be taking with it, and Zofran (I know, not ideal, but all I have).
