I don't know the law in India, but it will likely be the same in every country where it is a controlled substance i.e only those who need it are allowed it, such as businesses etc.
If that's how India runs, if you purchase said item, they will automatically assume it is for the incorrect use unless purchased through a business or education establishment. What happens, is if it's through customs, it gets seized and a welfare check is usually done on the address that has ordered it. It is then destroyed.
It will be very difficult to get SN through customs, and so you may be able to find it only in a local source to India - you may have to browse google and look through Indian websites to see if you can find somewhere that will sell it without a business address and/or personal ID.
