Discussion SN in food?

I know this story is messed up but what caught my eye was that they ate the food and must have not tasted the SN. What food could mask the taste like that? How could they not taste it?

It probably takes a very small amount to make a child sick. That was one messed up teacher!

Also, it's salty, not necessarily gross tasting. So I assume you could use it instead of salt and it wouldn't seem out of place.

There have been a few accidental poisonings with SN. One case was they thought it was low sodium type of salt and medical intervention was required. But as stated above, children will be more susceptible to it. Quite a few cases of kids drinking well water on farms and getting SN poisoning.

Just a strange fact, if you eat 30kg of cured bacon in one sitting it will give you enough SN for an overdose. Not a recommended method

Thicker the liquid, the more digestion is needed so yes you can do it, effects may be a bit slower
