I need to potentially make a decision in the next 2 days about going ahead with SN.

Is anyone here with a severe chronic illness or health issue reluctant due to potential for things to go wrong? I have antiemetics and believe capsules could reduce vomiting. Also as I've said most of my symptoms are gut based -- poor food tolerance, inflammation etc., though not much nausea thankfully.

My guess was EXIT probably does work with a lot of sick/disabled people but they have the luxury of being monitored whereas I'm trying to secretly ninja this together like some fucking spy movie escape in my parent's home aka my prison cell.

Yeah. I have juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. I take Lamictal for it. Between those two things, I do sometimes wonder if I'll run into some issues when I take SN...

The method is what it is. Whether somebody holds your hand or not, it will do the same thing. That said, it is a pity it has to be in secrecy and fear for all of us.

That's true. I just feel like it's akin to throwing a bomb into my already disabled wreck of a body and I guess am scared of how I might react.

Yeah same here. I'd expect to vom it up. I'd also go into urinary retention within an hour and have my bladder burst. That's going to happen to me anyway but there's a world of difference mentally between having something happento you and making it happen to you.

Capsules will take a lot longer to digest in the system and if your SI kicks in you'll end up calling an ambulance.

I have terrible stomach issues constantly suffer from nausea and I expect the chance of me vomiting is quite high even with the anti emetics. I'm going to dissolve some in water and test my tolerance by smelling it and maybe taking a sip or two before I take the full dose.

I too am going to try to sip it over a few minutes rather than down it. And have a second drink ready to go in case I throw up (although I'll have the SN measured out next to the water rather than pouring it in, in case I do end up ctb'ing with the first drink, I don't want anybody to accidentally drink the one I leave behind).

I hear you can still be successful even if you vomit, as long as you don't call emergency services?

This is a good idea. I plan to do this to us I also have trouble with nausea. I don't usually vomit, I just feel nauseous. However, with the SN, Who knows what will happen. I've vomited up pills before, so I intend to do a smell and taste test as well.
