Help SN has Solidified

I got my SN at the end of August. Today Took it out, I was surprised to see that it has solidified even though it in an airtight container and plastic bag. So I want to know if its still usable if it has turned to a solid. Thanks.

This is normal for pure SN that doesn't have anticaking agents in it to keep it in a powder form. Short of actually testing SN though there is no discernable way to determine it's potency just by looking at it.

I've read it has a shelf life of up to 3 years - have you tried seeing if it falls apart easily if you shake it or something

It looks fine. This is normal. I got mine back in February and it's also clumping. It breaks up easily and will still devolve in water.

That is good to know, I was worried if it has turned into Sodium Nitrate...But I still have to test if it still okay.
