I have read on the megathread that SN enemas would likely work. Makes sense to me. But that would eliminate the need for anti-emetics and absorption meds, wouldn't it? The volume needed wouldn't be that high at all: 2 Tablespoons in 50ml should be more than enough.

Thoughts?

I can't shed any real light here, but I have thought along the exact same lines. Rectally administered drugs are usually stronger than any other route of administration short of IV. I would suspect that a degree of nausea would still happen, given that that's one of the body's first line defences against poisoning, but nothing compared to drinking the SN

I would assume it would considering they're both to do with your stomach.

You're bypassing the gastrointestinal track and absorbing it at a much faster rate than orally would.

I was just doing some reading on reddit about drug consumption via enema and the guide recommends to use 1ml of water per drug dose as the optimum part of your anal cavity that absorbs substances is small so 50-100ml would probably be way too much in this case.

.No idea how much SN can be dissolved per ml of water or if all of a 50-100 ml administration would be absorbed properly (mentions to not use too much water so it's absorbed quickly)

Here's the link if you want to read more:

It has been a few years since I experimented but you can and will 'throw up' if you don't get it in deep enough. A cheap food syringe works wonders. I've done alcohol enemas and it hits you fast and harder than anything I've ever drank and with barely 3 ounces. Basically there is a reflex that will try to cause you to evacuate the thing it doesn't like if you only land in the lower colon. Little TMI overload on a TMI topic.

not too much TMI. This is helpful. Out of curiosity, your alcohol enemes, what type of Alcohol? Vodka? Or something else?

Yes, but even if you threw up, you wouldn't be throwing up SN.

I think the issue might be that the vomiting may be distressing enough for people to contact emergency services. It wouldn't effect the SN though. Unless the abdominal contraction was strong enough for the liquid to be pushed out... I tend to think that unconsciousness would kick in faster than all of this though

I think I may try this in the next few weeks. I have the SN ready and I am nearing my deadline. My mood has never been this bad before - I've hit the next level of hopelessness (as if that's possible). If I do it, I will stay online for as long as I can to let you all know how it goes

Good to see the Aussie sense of humor is as sophisticated as ever.

2nd Ashes Test tomorrow. You follow cricket ?

I don't - but my dad provides me with regular updates that I don't want or need. Are we losing or thrashing you? Don't lie now, I'll make a point of checking with father and he will be ridiculously excited that I asked

Oz won the first Test decisively. Your star man is Steve Smith, scored 286 in two innings, from your total team score of 487

Hehehehe I'm going to say this all to my dad and he will be so confused about why I know all this.

It's people like you that make life a little less awful.

Taking alcohol enemas is really dangerous, it might kill you (ironically).
By this logic the SN enema sounds totally viable (but not sure about dignified, but that's different strokes for different folks I guess).

I reckon the person would have time to pull the enema out of their butt. It would confuse the hell out of the emergency services though hahaha

If I was going this way I would probably combine it with reading Guns & Ammo, masturbating in my own faeces (like the guy from Se7en), make sure those that found me knew I was crazy AF.

I was scheming cleaning most of my stuff out of my apartment (but I am too depressed to move), doing the enema, and quickly shoving the equipment into a draw in my bathroom and scurrying to my bed. Less crazy, more confusing as fuck if I am found.

Definitely a viable route! Too bad it's not researched and encouraged more than it should be.
I've done some Mandy enemas before. With a small syringe (20 ml or close). Even Mandy hits you within 5-7 minutes and it has to go a totally different and longer pathway (cross the blood barrier, metabolize etc).
With SN it must be much quicker, as soon as it gets into the bloodstream, it starts the job.
I would say the onset can become noticeable in 3 mins.
Less waiting time - less chance of chickening out.

Yeah the usual cheap vodka. Read a couple things and thought why not. Water enema first to get things cleaned out a bit. Then a smaller vodka one. My body definitely did a little I don't want this when in sensed the alcohol and try to immediately expel the weird thing. Definitely a really good drunk that set in so quickly.

I'm sorry you're contemplating such things. Can I ask where the need for two tablespoons came from? Orally the normal dose is a touch over one tablespoon.

Also, I think it would be difficult to coax two tablespoons (30ml) of SN in 50ml of liquid.

@Rocksandsand, I like your idea for confusing absolutely everyone, but I'm afraid anyone who tried that would end up passing out when they should be scurrying.

@Roger and @Dead beat dad I adore you both.

One time I took a bath for hours each day and poured permethrin (dog shampoo) in the tub and I absorbed it. Wonder if someone had a TON of sodium nitrite if a small bath would work. It did go "up there" after a while and I did get very sick.

My findings online suggest that the solubility of sn is 1gram per 1.5 ml of water with one source, and over 80 grams in 100 ml at 25 degrees Celsius in another. Do you have a different source??

My source is another forum member's experience. He was using SN orally and didn't have good success dissolving his tablespoonful in a very small quantity of water.
Can you tell me why you want to use two tablespoons of it?
Thanks!

I think I will try and see how much will dissolve in say, 30ml of water. I hope I can get it right. How much do I need to have dissolved in it to be successful? I went to Walmart and got an enema to put it in. It is very cheap, a dollar or less. Mine cost me .95cents.

No particular reason. I'd rather have too much than too little. And I can hold enemas. Before I knew better, I Once tried to ctb with a rectal syringe worth of benzene. Burns like hell, but I kept it in. Should be able to handle SN with water.

The concept of introducing all that salt makes me wonder if oil or glycerine would be useful to hurry it in deeper rather than just shrivelling everything it comes in contact with at the entrance.

It's not the kind of thing I generally want to be thinking about before my coffee so thanks, Obama no no I mean: why did I look in? It's a mystery.

Oh please. Try with kosher table salt. Two spoons, one 20 ml syringe. Plunge it and see for yourself. How hard can it be?
