I just don't see the point in measuring it if 25g could kill the average person. What's that, like 2tbsp? So there's only a max dosage for taste?
It's one rounded tablespoon, or three rounded teaspoons.
Even two tablespoons is too much. As others here said, taking too much can induce vomiting too quickly for enough SN to absorb. If you read the accounts of successes and failures by those who took the right amounts of SN and water, vomiting was not instant for those who did so.
There is an abundance of information on this site for how to take SN, the rationale for the measurements, and stories of successes and failures. If someone reads all that and still wants to do their own thing, it's their choice, but to shrug and say, "What's the difference" without doing thorough research is imo taking a huge and unnecessary risk -- that is, unless survival is the goal.
I'm not a cheerleader for this method. I've done thorough research and planning and it's not my first choice. I will argue with anyone who says it's peaceful when there are plenty of accounts that show it is not peaceful for all. But I will also argue when someone doesn't see the point of following the regimen if they are actually seeking ctb and not survival.
I'm not trying to shame you, and it's not my body, so you can do what you want to do.
TL;DR
The point in taking
one heaping tablespoon with 1/4 c of water and not two tablespoons is the difference between an almost certain ctb if uninterrupted, and a likelihood of vomiting before enough SN has been absorbed and missing the bus.
