Method SN: does it need to be pure (~97%) or will the "curing salts" (~6.5%) work?

I see both available on the large online store that starts with an A. Also, this stuff is good for at least a year, and there's a way to test its potency prior to use (ctb), correct?

Yes, you can test your SN anytime you want. It can be done either when it arrives or a day before ctb.

BUT

SN purity has to be at least 95%. Everything below this value will significantly drop your chances to ctb or won't allow it at all. Using the purity you mentioned (6,5%) definitely won't let you do this. As far as I'm aware it will only make you very sick. Nausea, stomach pain, vomiting etc. but won't kill you.

No, you can't use curing salts. The purity is way too low and the salt content will make you vomit.
