My life has become bearable and, while I'm not truly happy, I might as well live, for the time being.

There is a chance that I move abroad and then I'd have to dispose of my SN. I've read a bit old posts but it's not really clear what's the safest way to throw it away.

My best shot would be dilluting it in a big blanket then flush it down the toilet

NO don't flush it down the toilet cause depending on your area the water supply gets recycled and may even poison others. In my opinion either bury it, or tape it up in a box or something throughly and then take it to a dump but make sure you don't throw it away in the recycle bin.

I am a bit paranoid that it may be recovered from the dump by someone. It's pretty common here.

I think there should be a way to make it degrade. If the bag is open and it is exposed to oxygen it should degrade quicker right?

Please do not put SN into the water supply. It is very toxic to the environment. That is one of its warning placards.

Here in the US, many communities have "hazardous waste disposal days" where you can take household and other chemicals and the local authorities will dispose of them properly.

You can also google search for licensed chemical disposal companies in your area, which may accept the SN. It may require a fee, but it is the responsible thing to do.

Can't you take it to your local pharmacy for proper disposal?
