SN Degradation

Once I acquire SN and open it, is it pretty much over for the SN? The one I'm getting looks to be a legit brand with tight packaging but I'm just worried if my first attempt fails, I wouldn't have a second batch as they would have already converted to nitrate. I'm not a super genius chemist so I'd rather not assume anything and ask questions instead.

Nah, it can sustain a small degree of air.
If open it once it shouldn't immediatly become dysfunctional.
It's advisable to avoid opening it as less as you can.
But opening it once shouldn't do much.
But there are people here who can give you a more detailed answer than mine.

That is a great point. It does help to know you have control over your own death at any given time. I'll take your idea.
