An end with suffering > Suffering without an end

Just got the news that an high school old acquaintance died of sn. This makes me wonder if he was on ss. I've searched a bunch of goodbye posts looking for anything that could be relatable to him but haven't really found anything. He died on 7/23. Rumor was an overdose of depression meds at the time but his mother suspected drug use because he had been very detached and hermit like prior to his death. I found out today that a toxicology report was done and they found a combination of sn, trazodone and doxycycline in his system. This explains why everyone said his body was "bruised" from head to toe like something had physically happened to him prior to making his exit. I'm assuming the blueish tint was mistaken for random bruising. My mind is blown right now. Last time I seen him he seemed pretty high on life, which was back in March.

It's always a shock or punch in the face when people you know have passed. Just like that in an instant. The fact that it's so easy yet so hard is insane. Life is fragile and vulnerable yet it's so hard to CTB.

Absolutely. The fact he died from sn is even more of a shock. He was a person of zero bravery. Very passive and submissive. The thought of him carrying out the process is unimaginable to me.

Rest in peace. To me it's not surprising that so many people decide to ctb in a world like this. At least all those gone are now free from suffering.

Suicidal people who just found a viable exit method are sometimes more happy than usual, because they see an end to their misery.

He was a person of zero bravery. Very passive and submissive. The thought of him carrying out the process is unimaginable to me.

He may just have been secretive and forward-thinking, but you never know... in the calmest of waters...

As with us all he had his reason. Do keep his memory in your heart, but also rejoice he is no longer hurting.

It really puts things into a different perspective for me. Having been stalling this entire time. The fact that he had the courage to initiate and complete the task and I'm still sitting here with sn I aquired almost 2 years ago.
