There are over the counter options for AE that have worked for some people, and no AE has worked for some people. Trying to time out how both methods would work togther seems almost impossible- you would likely throw up quickly from the sn and then drowning is the method. Combining methods is in most cases a bad plan- to carefully do one method, like sn, is more likely to work. One thing about sn is that if it fails people seem to usually recover with no ill effects, so they can try again, though it seems to work most of the time if you carefully plan it.

Sometimes people get lucky and their stomachs are stronger than others and they don't throw up; there are other-the-counter AE's that at least provide some help and goodbye threads have shown both approaches working in some cases.

Have a look at some of the many threads that have been posted here.
There's an antidote, methylene blue, that counteracts the physiological effects of SN almost entirely.
Providing it's administered within a decent enough time, your blood will start to receive oxygen again and thus, recovery.

If you are alone and want to die why would you get help? And then if you don't and you stay alive you could end up severely sick

No idea why you would want to combine methods. The more complicated you make your plans, the more likely you will fail.
You might not make it to the water and just be found barfing on the shore.
Then come all those awkward questions...
