Slitting throat with scalpel or razor blade

Any advice for this method? It's not my idea way to CTB but I'm having failed attempts with half body suspension hanging. How far down should I cut and what am I looking for? Carotid arteries or the jugular vein? Any ideas on angle too would be appreciated. I've already shot myself with a double barrel shotgun in the abdomen and was saved only because I was found in time. I can take the pain.

I was just going to say, it would be very pain I don't know what would be the best why to be honest, but all that blood!
