I wonder if i make a good slipknot cause
  1. It makes the scarf too short
  2. It seems easy to release/stretch
Also
It feels as i can lay forever with this knot, feeling a tiny bit of pressure.. i dont understand how it can only block the carotid it seems like it makes no sense..
Any tips?

I still don't see how to compress the carotid arteries without compressing the jugulars too
