The wiki and the hanging megathread contain a lot of information. I suggest you read through them, especially the wiki as that has videos for knots and other useful materials.
I'd like to add that if you want to pass out sooner then place the noose high on the neck.
Don't act on impulse as that is likely to cause failure.

The knot should be at the back of your neck, higher up is a faster pass out but very uncomfortable, I just tried and failed :/

i just failed, couldn't resist SI i'm sad i didn't die i don't know what to do i thought it's easy
