I tried this. I don't recall it hurting at all because of the adrenaline. I used a scalpel. Unfortunately survival instinct got the best of me and I was found. After that, I was in a psychiatric ward for a few months. It was horrible. Now I have an ugly ass fucking scar on my neck which has caused me great anxiety especially when meeting new people. Honestly, it is one of my biggest life regrets. I would strongly recommend AGAINST this. In the high chance situation that you get caught, you will 100% be sent to a psychiatric hospital against your own will.

that was my first attempt and method, its very hard to cut it with a knife you would NEED an electric saw to have a chance and your SI would kick in because of the pain and you more than likely wont go through with it

I dont think this is the best way to ctb. It will be very hard to cut in the right place, deep enough and be successful in dying. And if you fail, what would happen then? But yeah, definitely better methods out there.
