I have a lot of promethazine I've been collecting just in case, can I take it with my antiemetic? My antiemetic of choice is Quetiapine which also sedates me and promethazine is also my sleep aid and it'll help me fall asleep faster… can I mix the two for faster loss of consciousness?

While researching SN as a potential method, I read this about a young man's failed SN suicide attempt. "The patient reported losing consciousness after ingestion and waking up in his own vomit and feces. He felt confused and called EMS. In the emergency department (ED), the patient acknowledged nausea, vomiting, and bowel incontinence. He complained of severe diffuse abdominal pain that was 8/10 in severity."

No thanks. I do not want to be in misery in my last moments on Earth.

Really? I'm afraid I'll fall asleep before I can prepare and drink the SN
Then you'll have to time it right

Well suicide isn't exactly the most feasible and peaceful thing on earth lol. Of course some people haven't had the best experiences with this method since it's quite nauseating and can cause bowel releases. But that's why other substances are recommended to relieve the nausea at least - and tbh id rather have that than my blood plastered everywhere. Or survive and be left a vegetable.

Yeah read all of these. In pretty much all of the fail cases, it is because they did not follow literally any kind of procedure. This person did not take antiemetics and likely didn't even fast at all beforehand. If proper procedure is followed (antiemetics, fasting, proper SN dose), the chances of regaining consciousness are extremely low. It is likely you are another fearmongering sociopath who loves to fuck with already struggling people.

Quetiapine is an antipsychotic used in low doses (25 mg) as an anxiolytic. There's been a trend in recent years toward prescribing it for insomnia in different doses, ranging from 25 mg to 150 mg. I recommend you see how long it takes you to fall asleep, and I don't think you need to take the antihistamine.
It's my second post here. I studied psychopharmacology in my first degree. Write to me if you have any questions.

For full disclosure this has been discussed before

I really want to pass out as fast as possible after ingesting the SN, are you sure I wouldn't need the promethazine? It's very helpful especially when I take higher doses 125- 250mg. But I don't wanna fuck this up so I don't wanna take too much. I just wanna know if it'll disrupt and complicate the process or quicken it ig.

I joined the forum yesterday and have been reading for hours. I recommend you read the entire SN megapost; it's right there that they mention "drug interactions." When you mix chemicals with other chemicals, or drugs with other drugs, an interaction occurs that, when it enters our system, produces a certain result. In any case, I would recommend taking more quetiapine and stopping the antihistamine.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm using a translator because I'm too tired for do it by myself.

It might be a good idea to use a timer or alarm for several days to see how long it takes you to fall asleep with quetiapine. In any case, if you don't fall asleep within 40 minutes, you could increase the dose a little. That's what I'm thinking right now.
