Nice to see, I know that Telegram (my main messenger app) has had this feature for a while now, good that other apps are following suit now.

As far as I can say, Signal always has been a way safer messenger than Telegram, since Telegram doesn't even use end-to-end-encryption by default.

There is no sign that the encryption Signal is using is compromised nor that Signal itself shares data with any other parties. So I would say yes, Signal is and always has been one of the best options for secure messaging.

This is a new feature on my Samsung Galaxy A12, I'd never seen it before until the other day. Pretty cool. Must be standard with new phones

What is your opinion on Session messenger? You don't need a phone number nor email to sign up.

signal over telegram but session over signal any day. with that being said i'm jealous that session doesn't have scheduled messages too

Interesting, but I imagine it's quite limited. I want to message police/smaritans to notify where my body is but I imagine this is telegram 2 telegram? I think email should still work fine anyway.

FYI Telegram needs a number but it's is safe providing you choose to hide number from other ppl.
