I'm just a bit embarrassed about my financial situation because when I went to specsavers they treated me awfully. I need somewhere in western Australia that can offer some financing like afterpay or something similar I can sign up for. I lost my glasses about 6 days ago but I was overdue for a check up and I know they dont work as well as when I received them. (I was told originally I would have to change my prescription shortly (about a year) since it's injury based. But they where so mean, I went into specsavers because they said they did afterpay. Even a sticker on the windows said so but then they got mean and I had to beg fam for the cash. So I want help finding somewhere to redo my prescription. Specsavers isn't willing to tell me what my prescription is so unfortunately I think I'd need an entire new test. Any advice. Pretty please and thank you.

I am not sure about Australia but in the US if somebody does something free for someone that they would normally charge for, they can deduct it from their taxes as a charitable contribution. It might also be possible to find a church that would be interested in helping. There are some organizations that collect old glasses for distribution in poor countries. If Australia has one of these in your city, you might be able to try different ones to see if any work for you.
