You should contact moderators and see if you can recreate another account. In the future please practice OPSEC. This was from a post of yours identifying your own state plus birthday. I've known of members who were doxxed and later recreated a new account under the discretion of staff on here.
This forum has a lot of public attention. There are going to be sour apples looking to dox people. if you make a new account there is a "Incognito" theme that changes the site's banner.
Stay safe.
I'm not sure that is enough to work with. Like if their picture is real, then ya. But assuming they aren't that stupid. They could easily ask for actual proof, because it's speculation. Like how many people do you think was born in any given month in any given state?
Like I seen post where they mention their situation. This is always risky, and maybe. But I think it's common for people in that age range to live with their parents, not dated much, and so on.
To my guess 1 of 2 things happen. The most likely thing that happen is the person seen them on the site (like them on the site with their phone), they monitored the network, or maybe the user kept the page up/favor it/ or whatever and the scumbag used their device/seen it.
The other is they straight up looked up their browser history.
(Again, this is assuming the image isn't really of the person in question)
Where the fuck on earth am I supposed to go now? I can't trust people anymore. Not anymore. I will die in silence.
Assuming I'm right, ask a mod to delete all your post, delete your account, and delete your browser history. The first and biggest thing to delete is this thread since it is a very exact situation which shows it most likely is you since they out you and you mention it. The person bringing this up, ask for hard evidence or you will think about suing them for character assassination. This will force them to provide what evidence they have, and you could easily figure out their method.
Once things died down a bit, just rejoin. Maybe use a VPN if they were monitoring your network traffic. Note, if they don't own the network they were monitoring, then that in itself they might had broken a federal law.
One thing to note, if you already admitted to it. I would highly recommend just not dealing with the person who told on you. If they wanted to help, then they could've talked directly to you in private. IMO they wanted to humiliate you while making themselves feel like they are some hero. And if you have to interact with them, then mention this. Again, that is assuming you admitted to it already.
If you didn't, then doing what I said would turn the tables against the person until they show hard evidence.
Now assuming their evidence is your picture or maybe a common used username of yours. There isn't much I can recommend other than be smarter next time.
