Venting should i stay until she gets older?

i have this really young friend of mine who's 12 and shes been doing sh, and we're like sisters but i was planning to ctb tonight when i learned that she started texting me and saying that she wanted to sh and that talking to me helped. i really cant take it anymore i feel like its my fault that i wasnt there and that everytime im not there she might do it. i want to die but what if things get worse for her? what if she does something stupid? i was planning to ctb but i dont know if i should. i dont know if i should suffer another 5 years so that it wont hurt her that much.

I think that you're really lucky you have someone to live for. I wish I did. But if I died, a few people would be sad for a while, and then easily get over it.

You have a purpose. So many people do not have a purpose and are depressed. Take that knowledge and feel how grateful you are for it, that you were put here to do something and be there for someone.

That sounds like a difficult situation to be in, it must be hard to deal with when you plan to be gone yet you feel held back. I just think that after all only you can decide what you should do, but I wish you the best in whatever happens.

That's a very harsh deadlock you are in, I'm sorry. Sometimes I worry a lot about the state of things after dying and how much of it would be my fault. I hope you find strength in whatever you do and not suffer. In these situations it seems like all decisions require strength and all paths entail suffering.

what? people are allowed to be friends with peope younger than them, and nobody's set an age limit on mental illness.... 12 is super young, i'll agree, but a 12 year old can navigate the internet enough to see some fucked up shit, and i'd assume they know each either irl or the kid said hi on like a pokemon forum or something and became attached.

i highly doubt it's creepy shit.

A 12 year-old is a child! This isn't about a mental illness. This is about a presumably adult and a kid. The adult, if they care about the child should try to get her help. I don't give a fuck if you think I'm a pro lifer, we're talking about a young girl here.
