Hello everyone so I've decided to do the detergent method. I've found an isolated spot far away from anyone else for a few miles. I'm going to tape up the vents. I've printed out warning signs to put on the windows of my car. I'm going to call emergency services just before I do it and let them know where I am and that I'm using hydrogen Sulfide and to come with hazmat in full protection. Since I'm at an isolated spot I figure the reaction will have more than enough time to do its work before they arrive. I've got the muriatic acid (hcl) and lime sulfer (with calcium poly Sulfide). I've got a large 60 litre plastic container to do the mix. Now all I want to know is which liquid to pour into the container first the hcl or lime sulfer? Or should I pour them in together? Although I'd rather not have to pour them in together because it's easier to just pour one at a time. Thanks in advance.

I'm

I'm just writing this off the top of my head . But if i would do it i would pour the lime sulfer first. The acid might be corrosive (Not sure about this though) . So i would pour the acid after. how much of each do you have?
I'll be using 4 litres of each

Are you sure about how much time it would take vs. arrival time of E.M.S.? I don't know that I would bother to make that call, but that's just me.

Yea I calculated based on the information online and from this test by a hazmat team in San Diego Video link

That is a huge quantity! If you've seen the hazmat video, you know that a much smaller amount produces a large reaction, splashing out of the container. You also know that the concentration does not develop much faster with the bigger amount.

Are you sitting in the same area as your bucket? You need to take care not to get splashed, which will likely be painful.

Is it a large car?

ETA: The pouring does not make much difference. Either way that is a chance of splashing, so pour moderately. Don't dump.

Yea I got a large 60 litre plastic bin that I will be using in the backseat and I will be pouring it in gently as to not splash it.

Yea I checked it. It says to pour the acid into the sulfer so I think I will be doing that, as someone suggested earlier in the thread. Thanks for the link.

Nice work with making the pph 2019 December available. Hope you can get the latest 2020 version with the debreather info.. Someone did upload it here i think but someone else accused them of being a scammer so the poster took it down . I don't think he was a scammer and i missed the opportunity to download it when i had the chance. Lesson learned : don't put off to tomorow what you can do today.
Actually most of the real work was done by @HereToday and @notjustyetagain
I just reuploaded it and addressed some of the "document security" concerns, as discussed on that thread.

Plus I guess I'm on a roll, because I also uploaded the debreather chapter on the same thread (scroll down and you'll see it)
