Shotgun best method

Hello.

After doing my research on SN, i concluded that the possibility of surviving after experiencing cyanosis, which includes the possibility of getting an amputation, i decided that is not the method for me. I've been doing research and while some people have been successful with SN, some others have survived even with a very deadly dose.

I have no way of getting a firearm on my own, like one acquired by myself, but if i could i would choose a gun because i find it less messy. Shotguns for example are kind of a problem bc you could end up blowing your face while remaining alive, which would totally suck since then my family would make sure that i never get close to a firearm.

But my dad has a shotgun. He is old enough to have his license and he leaves hanging around everywhere in the house.

I'm actually kinda desperate to find an effective way, if i try is gonna be to succeed, it has to be.

Any opinions/advices about where to aim to kill your brain effectively?

When body parts are deprived of oxygen they rot.
I think op means your body parts can be permanently damaged.

Yes, since SN affects the capacity of your heart to provide enough oxygen, you will experience cyanosis. I haven't read anything about SN intoxication resulting in amputation, but it is a possibility. Also, it causes hypoxia, which is a lack of oxygen in the brain, so there's the possibility of surviving with brain damage and cognitive issues. I just think it's not worthy to take the risk.

About the shotgun method................if a person actually places the barrel into their mouth and blows out the back of their skull and brain stem, it's about as close to 100% surety of death as one can ever get. It's gruesome, but it's about the most certain way available.

I'm not in the US, i'm in the Dominican Republic. My dad has a shotgun tho, but i'm afraid of missing and also idk where to do it because i don't want my family to be the ones who discover my body, i want to do it in some kind of abandoned place away from people, but again i'm afraid of just blowing my face off

You are extremely lucky. I'm Dominican as well and my dad has a handgun but he keeps it hidden. I'm younger than 30 so I can't get a gun legally. I wish I could get my hands on a shotgun. Btw, you should NEVER point it at your chin, it should be pointed either in the ceiling of your mouth OR directly behind and above your ear. I'm not telling you to do it, but if you are going to, don't point it at your face please.
